MINISTRY OF HEALTH URGES INSTITUTIONS TO INVEST IN FIRST AID
The Public Service Pensions Fund
(PSPF) on 9th September 2023 joined other exhibitors both public and
Private at the Zambia Red Cross Society World First Aid Day commemorations at
the BARCA Academy in Lusaka.
The Commemorations which were
graced by Minister of Health, Honourable Sylvia Masebo who was represented by
Ministry Assistant Director- Health Promotions and Education Dr. Kalangwa
Kalangwa were held under the theme “First
Aid in the Digital World”.
During the event, PSPF
contributing members had an opportunity to learn more about pension benefits
and value addition products such as the Home Ownership Scheme and Micro Finance
Scheme.
And in her opening remarks, the
Minister urged participating Institutions to seriously consider investing in
First Aid due to its importance in helping people in cases of accidents and
medical emergencies.
Among the activities that
characterized the commemorations were athletics and first Aid competition.
